Used curriculum Sales
 
One of the great benefits of the new TEACH website is we will be able to have alot of current information easily available to all.  In that light we will have a web page for those members who would like to buy or sell pre-owned curriculum.  A member may post a list of ten items they have to sell, listing brief descriptions, price and their contact information.  Members may also post a listing for items they are looking to buy.  We will need to keep the information updated monthly, in order to avoid old postings.
 
Another way we intend to facilitate sales of used curriculum is to allow members to bring items to sell at each monthly meeting.  A couple of tables will be set up during the "tea pre-meeting" time for this purpose.   Members will be responsible for bringing their books, labeling their items, "manning" their table and cleaning up that table at the end of the meeting.  You must sign up ahead of each monthly meeting for this sale, as we will generally only allow a few people each month the opportunity.
 
During the year if there is additional interest for an annual used sale with a pre-planned date (either regular meeting or other separate day/time) we may also decide to do this.  We'll see what interest develops.
 
The coordinator for monthly meeting table is Tina Hoag. For monthly meetings we will need the approximate number of items you have to sell, as well as the date of the meeting you wish to sell at.

 

For web page sales, submit to Karen Petrin a list no more than ten items, your prices and your contact information - please include e-mail or telephone or both - and specify whether you want this information kept private on the website. Monthly contact will be made to everyone who has something listed to sell on the web, to ensure that all the information is at least checked and updated monthly. 

 

Get to those bookshelves and weed out what you don't need----others may just be waiting for your treasures!!!!
